This 4-week mindfulness meditation course is an experiential course aimed at clarifying the basic concepts of mindfulness and learning the practice of meditation and its application in daily life. The program offers an integrated approach to using mindfulness techniques to help the participants deal with stress, anxiety, pain, serious physical or emotional trauma, as well as building emotional resilience.
This course is designed to teach the practical understanding of positive psychology, for anyone who wants to live a better way of life or inspire others to improve their lives in meaningful ways in whatever situation they may be.
Mindfulness Meditation Course will cover the following areas:
What is mindfulness and its need to practice
Learning the techniques of mindfulness with explanation and practice
Relating the techniques with body and mind
Breathing techniques and its usage in body awareness
Relating body awareness with mindfulness
Learning to apply mindfulness in everyday life
Dealing with thoughts and emotions in everyday life- personal application
Deepening practice through understanding of basic philosophical principles
How the course will work:
There will be four sessions of 2 hour each.
Sessions will be every Sunday – 11.00 - 1.00 pm at Mystic Yoga, Lake Avenue (13, Lake Avenue, Near Rabindra Sarovar)
Teachers will be available on email/WhatsApp between the weekly sessions to address any questions.
There will be 4 guided meditations provided for home practice.
