Class Types

We offer a wide variety of alignment based yoga classes for all levels, ranging from therapeutic yoga to basic, intermediate and advanced level of yoga.

Mystic Therapeutic Yoga

Yoga can work for many different types of bodies, many different stages in life, and for each person’s many different physical condition or moods. While for some a Power Yoga class may seem like the way to go, for others a gentle therapeutic Yoga class may be optimal. For some people their needs change daily. However, the therapeutic effects of yoga should never be over-looked, no matter what age, and sometimes slowing down the practice, going deeper in poses, and just feeling the therapeutic or restorative power of them does wonders for the body. Countless studies have proven the physical and emotional benefits of this.
In general, therapeutic classes are for those who are struggling with flexibility, backache or knee pain, or at times when you feel weak, fatigued, or stressed from your daily activities or recovering from illness or injury.


Mystic Basic Yoga

Mystic Basic class teaches the classic yoga postures through a deep awareness of correct alignment and precise actions in the body. This technique helps to refine your poses while it trains the mind to remain alert, focused and composed. This class is intended to help you get yoga in your body and to learn the language of yoga. Each class is unique and will vary from teacher to teacher.
The basic postures are presented in challenging ways with a focus on the fundamentals of yoga. Classes address the needs of participants who are new to yoga or those who might even have an advanced practice.


Mystic Intermediate Yoga

This class is suited to students who, through a regular yoga practice, have developed a greater degree of strength, flexibility and body awareness. The focus of this class is to develop a practice of advance versions of the basic postures. This workout exhilarates the body and mind with emphasis on movement, balance and intention. It is a great class for those who are ready to take their yoga practice to the next level.
