MYSTIC YOGA FOUNDATION

Mystic Yoga Foundation (MYF) is a Public Charitable Trust dedicated to spiritual, educational, and humanitarian work. We focus on helping correctional home inmates, rural children in need, and rescuing stray animals (cats and dogs) with little chance of survival.

Mystic Yoga Animal Care – Organic Evolution

Over 7+ years, our founders Chirashree, Sudhir, and Abhishek have adopted and cared for 250+ stray cats and dogs across three locations in Kolkata: Mystic Yoga – Purnadas Road, Mystic Yoga – Salt Lake, and Mystic Yoga Home Stay – Lake Town. These animals receive proper care, including neutering, vaccinations, and nourishment.

Daily Feeding of Street Dogs and Cats

Since the Covid lockdown in March 2020, we have been feeding 250+ stray dogs in Kolkata's Salt Lake and Lake Town areas, with ongoing efforts to neuter them in small batches each month.

Monthly Budget  (Rs. 2.20 Lacs approx.)

Our monthly expenses cover food, veterinary care, medicines, shelter maintenance, and manpower. We receive donations averaging INR 5,000-10,000 monthly, and the remaining costs are primarily covered by revenue from our Yoga-Meditation classes, courses, and retreats. Any shortfall is personally met by our three Mystic Coaches: Chirashree, Sudhir, and Abhishek

Mystic Yoga Animal Shelter – Leap forward

In the coming months, we will develop a dedicated animal shelter with basic accommodation for 8 aspiring Yogis near the city limits. This initiative aims to inspire others to create similar concepts in their hometowns. Integrating Yoga & Meditation retreats with the animal shelter will make it more self-sustaining. 50% of the project cost will be donated by the three Mystic Yoga Founders, while the remaining 50% will be raised through grants, accommodation subscriptions, and interest-free loans repayable within 3-5 years. Contact Sudhir at 91-9163365029 for collaboration and contributions to the Animal Shelter Project. - Estimated Project Cost: 1.0-1.15 crore

Appeal for Contribution
